January is the traditional time of year for Kadampa Buddhists to engage in meditation retreat. This year at KMC Liverpool we are hosting three weekend retreats covering the complete stages of the path to enlightenment, the special presentation of all Buddha’s teachings laid out step-by-step in an easy to understand and practise format. These guided retreats are suitable for beginners and everyone is welcome.

Each weekend is in two parts: two teaching sessions on the Saturday morning followed by guided meditation retreat sessions on the Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. It’s not necessary to attend all sessions.

£60 for all three weekend retreats 

(Each weekend can be booked separately for £25, or £15 for just the Saturday morning teaching sessions and £15 for just the guided retreat sessions. Please see the individual weekend retreats’ pages to book – click on their titles above.)


The courses and retreats will be guided by our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme and other experienced Kadampa meditation teachers from KMC Liverpool who teach regular classes in the local area.  Click here to find out what you can expect.
