Finding Certainty in a Post-truth World
May 15, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
| £15.00Nowadays, we’re bombarded with information; everyone has strong opinions and nobody agrees on the truth. So how can we know what’s true and what’s false? In these confusing times of “fake news” and alternative facts, how can we know who or what to rely on, and who to trust?
Buddha taught how to rely on wisdom based on valid reasoning and logic to find the truth. By developing our own wisdom, we can find certainty and liberate ourselves and others from suffering. On this special, half-day course we will explore how to train in valid reasoning and find reliable, beneficial knowledge. Everybody is welcome.
Where: KMC Liverpool & streamed online
When: Saturday 14th May 10am – 1.30pm

The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Jigme. Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years. He shows a humble, kind example as a practitioner and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in our daily life.
