Meditation is a way of calming the mind and developing a positive approach to life. It is easy to do, and something everyone can learn. Through meditation and mindfulness, we can control our feelings and emotions, gain inner strength, let go of stress and start to truly relax.

This retreat consists of two sessions including talks and guided meditations. Refreshments will be provided. It will be held in our garden marquee, weather permitting, or in our beautiful meditation room (with HEPA air filters).

Resident Teacher Kelsang Gyalpo

The teacher of this course is KMC Liverpool’s Resident Teacher Kelsang Gyalpo. Originally from Ireland, Kelsang Gyalpo has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s guidance for many years. He has worked and taught in many Kadampa centres throughout the world and brings with him an enthusiastic, balanced and kind approach to the teachings.
